Northwest Door Garage Door Replacement in Denver: Three Collections

Northwest Door is the line we point to when the answer is not a standard steel panel. It has one insulated steel collection and two aluminum-framed collections, and the three have little in common except their quality of build.

Planning a garage door replacement? This page helps you narrow the choice. For how a replacement works from measure to install, see our garage door replacement service. If a broken spring is what brought you here, start with garage door spring repair.

Which one

  • Insulated steel for an attached garage: Therma Tech 3500. It has six panel designs and 26 window designs.
  • Contemporary design with glass and aluminum: Modern Classic 7500, with more than 30 panel and window configurations.
  • Carriage-house look with real design range: Infinity Classic 7800, with woodgrain powder-coat finishes, custom arched tops and simulated divided lites.

A note on aluminum

Aluminum does not rust, which matters on streets that are salted all winter, and the anodized and powder-coat finishes are made for high-altitude sun. The trade-off is insulation: glass and aluminum doors insulate less than a steel sandwich, so they usually suit a garage that is not heated, or where the look is the point.
